When you reply to a BreadBasket story or DM @breadbasketx, Instagram sends us your username, an Instagram-scoped ID, your message text, and its timestamp. That is the entire player account — we never see your password, email, followers, or anything else on your profile.

If you join VIP, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We receive your email address and a customer reference from Stripe; your card number never touches our servers.

To run the game: timestamping and ranking replies, selecting winners, sending you result DMs, paying prizes, and maintaining the public scoreboard.

If you win, we announce it with a masked version of your username (for example @daka***) on our Instagram stories and on this site. We never publish your full username without asking you first.

Meta (Instagram messaging), Stripe (payments), Neon (database hosting), and Vercel (application hosting). Each processes data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

We keep game records (entries, wins, timestamps) while the game operates, and raw message logs for up to 12 months for dispute resolution.

Want out? Email team@breadbasket.life from any address, or DM us, and we will delete your player record, entries, and message history within 30 days. Stripe billing records are retained as required by law.
